The Chorus had a blast singing for the Caroline Chisholm Education Fund fundraiser. This fund raises money to award scholarships to assist people in their educational goals. We enjoyed a fantastic lunch as well, by the hospitality students of Chisholm Institute, Frankston campus.
Southern Sounds Chorus loved being on stage at the Mornington Peninsual Choral Festival. The Festival took place over three evenings at the Peninsula Community Theatre, Mornington in June. Amongst other choirs from primary and secondary schools and the wider community, we enjoyed sharing choral music with our audience. Well done to all the groups, junior and senior in age range! Thanks to the Choral Festival Committee for creating a supportive and friendly atmosphere.

Enjoy the Chorus performance and other choirs at the Mornington Peninsula Choral Festival on Wednesday, 4th June from 7 p.m. onwards at Peninsula Community Theatre, Wilson's Road, Mornington.
Then catch them at the Mornington Winter Musical Festival on Sunday, 8 June at 2 pm, at Library cnr. Queen and Main Streets. Then wander along and catch some more acts around Mornington.
Southern Sounds Chorus had alovely morning singing at the Somerville Family Day at Fruitgowers Reserve on March 10.
Resplendant in fresh white the women entertained and then sang tags, including, "In Somerville where I was born"

One of our final performances for 2024 was at the Somerville Community House Carols evening. We love joining with other music groups who also call the community house 'home.' What a lovely concert with the supportive groups at Somerville.
The Chorus loved their time entertaining families who attended The Santa Train today at Moorooduc. Toot toot!
We loved our time with the St. John's Church parishioners recently. Some lovely carols were sung!
